I have previously written about path (path) the folder to the disk cache and how to change it. If you want to limit the size of the disk cache in SRware Iron or Google Chrome, you can do it in a similar manner. The following attributes shall be specified in the shortcut (Alias) for “SRware Iron” or “Google chrome”
--disk-cache-size=N Where N is an integer in bytes that limits the size of the disk cache. It must be written after the path to the program. Right-click the shortcut > select Properties > Shortcut tab > in the "Target:"After the path to the program, enter eg:
So this may look like the path and attributes.
"C:\Program Files\SRWare Iron\iron.exe" – disk-cache-size=96000000
“OBS! It should be two space after the path to the program” and the two minus sign.
"C:\Program Files\SRWare Iron\iron.exe"<space><space><dash><dash>disk-cache-size=N
The example below gives a maximum of 48MB Disk Cache.
If you want to change both where and how much disk cache, it must be in Iron or Chrome, write t.ex. like this.
C:\Program Files\SRWare Iron\iron.exe" --disk-cache-dir=d:\cache --disk-cache-size=96000000
