Backup MS Outlook Eng – copy two files called .pst
The ena called outlook.pst
, that includes all your Outlook folders with Email, Calendar, Contacts, Data m.m. and the second archive.pst
containing archived message from Outlook. When you archive a message, you move it from outlook.pst
to archive.pst
, therefore, archiving is not a backup of MS Outlook, it is an archiving of old data in Outlook, mostly so that outlook.pst does not become so big.

Copy these two files outlook.pst
and archive.pst
.
Preferably copy it to a Cloud in case your computer is stolen or broken and you have data left.

You can easily locate the files in Outlook 2007 Follow the steps below.
- Go to the main menu of Outlook 2007, Click File and select Data File Management.
OR - Click on the Tools menu and select Account Settings from the drop down menu.
- Click the Data Files tab. You may have a file or more files. These are computer files, Where you have your email, data, Calendar mm.
- Click the Open Folder icon. Windows Explorer will automatically open and you reach the place where the files are.
- Stäng Outlook.
Now you can copy files to any storage media you want. Remember that Outlook must be closed before you backup the files.
