Add links from the Recent Locations, In the Navigation Pane
In the top left hand side or the navigation pane in Windows Explorer is a section called ”Recent locations” or Favourites. (These are not to be confused with Internet Explorer Favorites.) This is a handy list of shortcuts to folders or links that you frequently use and are available for easy access. By default, the, Desktop, Downloaded files and last points are listed.
Add your own shortcuts to the list is very simple. One way is to drag a folder and drop it in the list. Another is to open the Links folder and adding shortcuts where.
Follow the instructions below.
- Open the Start- menu
- In Start Search, write ”
shell:links
” (no quotes). - Choose ”shell: links” The Listan.
- A folder containing shortcuts to the navigation pane favorite links open.
- Add your own shortcuts to frequently used. If you drag a folder here creates shortcuts automatically.
The real path here is: C:\Users\<username>\Links
