Unable to save incoming email password.
The explanation that I found is that ”checksummor” error in Windows settings registry. So it is not an error in the server and it is not the wrong password that is saved in the settings of Outlook, but it is Windows that thinks it is the wrong password.
There are two good ways to circumvent this problem:
- Methods 1 – Change the password for the service, contact the provider and ask them to change, for example, the password for incoming e-mail if this is where the problem occurs. When the new password is stored, a new checksum, which hopefully matches.
- Methods 2 – byt e-postklient, recommend Mozilla Thunderbird
