To remove the large file ’hiberfil.sys’ used only if you let your computer go into Sleep Mode.
- Starta command shell, write
cmdin the search field. - Type the command:
powercfg.exe -h offRestart the computer then the file is
hiberfil.sysaway.
Now the computer never goes in Hibernation, only Sleep. Draws a little more power but starts much faster.
